Word Lens, developed by Quest Visual, works with the video recording capability on the iPhone; all users have to do is hold their phones up and the app will scan the video feed for words and replace them with the translated words.
Word Lens is free, but the Spanish–English and English–Spanish dictionaries are available as in-app purchases for US$5 each. And while available only on the iPhone for now, Android, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry, and Palm versions are in the works.
