'not as nature intended' by ronald pari - endangered species graphic design competition

 

'not as intended' by ronald pari from canada is one of the shortlisted entries from more
than 2000 participants in the 'endangered species' graphic design competition,
organized by designboom in collaboration with tokyo designers week 2010.
highlighting the ivory trade as the main cause for the dwindling number of asian elephants,
the poster displays many other statistics on endangered animals worldwide.

designer's own words:
'the design shows the elephant with carvings on his tusks. poaching and the ivory trade
is one of the reasons the elephants are becoming endangered. the alarming numbers say it all.'
